Delay custom order status updates

Simple setup is required before this template will work.

MESA makes it possible to automatically delay Tracktor order status updates. That way, the customer only receives their tracking number via email when the order is ready to be shipped.

Follow the steps below to set up this workflow.

1. This is the trigger step in this workflow. This is what starts the automation:

2. Within the Delay step, you will want to adjust the number of days based on your needs. 

3. Next, the Shopify Retrieve Order step and Filter step work together to retrieve the order information then filter out orders with unfulfilled statuses. 

4. Within the Tracktor Update Manual Status Order step, select and change the custom order status in the  Status field.

This can be one of the pre-defined statuses or any custom statuses configured in Tracktor. If Automatic Carrier Updates are enabled (marked as Yes), you can leave the Status field empty.

5. Finally, adjust the email template in the Email step to customize the message for your store. 

Note: There is a limit to the number of times a premium app can run each 30-day billing period that depends on your MESA plan. Once you have exceeded this limit, any workflows with a premium app task included will be marked as "Skip" in your Activity tab. You will be able to replay that task from your Activity list after your billing period has rolled over or you upgrade your plan.

5. At the top of the workflow, hit the Save button to save your changes.

6. Hit the Enable button when you are ready to start using the workflow.
