If you're looking to stop tasks in the "Ready" state, all related to a single workflow, turn the workflow responsible for those tasks to "off".
This won't immediately cancel all of those tasks, but those tasks will be instantly canceled as soon as MESA processes them because MESA does not run disabled workflows.
