Add a Shopify customer's email address to a Klaviyo list

This template will: 

  • Add a customer's email address to a Klaviyo list when a customer has been created in Shopify

Follow the steps below to set up this workflow.

Step 1

In the  Klaviyo Subscribe List step, select an Existing Credential or create a Credential connecting your Klaviyo account to MESA. 

If you have already created a Klaviyo credential, click here to skip to Step 3 in this help document. 

Step 2

Fill in your private API key from your Klaviyo dashboard in the Create Credential field.

Log in to your Klaviyo account and view your Account page: klaviyo.com/account#api-keys-tab

Under the Private API Keys section, locate your Private API Key on the right hand side. 

Click on the eye icon to display the key and copy it.

If you have not yet created a Private API Key, click on the Create Private API Key button to generate a new key.

Paste the key in the Create Credential field and then click on the Add Credential button.

Step 3

Click the Done button in the Account Credentials section.

Step 4

Edit the Step Configuration section and select the Klaviyo list of your choice in the List ID field.

Step 5

At the top of or below the workflow, click the Save button to save your changes.

Step 6

Click the toggle to switch the workflow On when you are ready to start automating.
