Add a customer with a backorder tag to a Klaviyo email list
This template will:
- Add a tagged customer to a backorder Klaviyo list if an unavailable item is purchased.

Follow the steps below to set up this workflow.
In the Klaviyo Subscribe List step, create a Credential connecting your Klaviyo account to MESA. Fill in your private API key from your Klaviyo dashboard in the Create Credential field.
Log in to your Klaviyo account and view your Account page: klaviyo.com/account#api-keys-tab.
Under the Private API Keys section, locate your Private API Key on the right hand side.
Click on the eye icon to display the key and copy it.
If you have not yet created a Private API Key, click on the Create Private API Key button to generate a new key.
Paste the key in the Create Credential field and then click on the Add Credential button.
Hit the Done button in the Account Credentials section.
Edit the Step Configuration section and select the Klaviyo list of your choice in the List ID field.
At the top of the workflow, hit the Save button to save your changes.
Hit the toggle to switch it to On when you are ready to start using the workflow.
🗒 Note: The profile must have an email address associated when creating the Shopify Customer profile.
You can adjust the "backorder" tag in the Filter Step if there is a different tag that you'd prefer to trigger this workflow.
