Add Uploadery line items to Google Sheets

Setup is required before this template will work. Follow the steps below.

This workflow adds Uploadery line items to an existing Google Sheets spreadsheet when an order is created.

Let’s get started 🚀

Follow the steps below to set up this workflow.

1. Open the Google Sheets Add Row step and click the Authenticate with Google button to create a new Credential and authenticate with Google.

If you have already created a Credential, select an existing one in the Existing Credentials drop-down menu.

2. View this Google Sheets spreadsheet and click Make a Copy. Feel free to rename it to your preferred title.

3. Update the last two columns' headers of the spreadsheet (i.e. uploadery_1 and uploadery_2) to match the actual Field Names that you set up in Uploadery. The below example uses "Image" and "Image_2".

Add one column header for any additional Uploadery' Field Names that you would like to save in your spreadsheet.

4. Go back to the workflow and on the Google Sheets Add Row step locate the Spreadsheet field. Click on it and click on the title of your copied spreadsheet.

The Sheet Name will be Sheet 1 as default.

5. After adding any additional column headers, click on the Retrieve Spreadsheet Columns button to bring in the additional column headers to the workflow.

6. Update the Tokens for your Uploadery fields by clicking the token selector {+} icon. A menu will pop up on the right-hand side and under the Iterator icon, you'll see a list of possible tokens. They will be something like {{iterator.fields.uploadery_1}}, where uploadery_1 is the Field Name in your Uploadery Option Set configuration.

If you have adjusted the Field Names in the Uploadery dashboard, you will need to change the Token to match it. For example, if the Field Name was changed to "Image", then the Token would be adjusted to {{iterator.fields.Image}}.

For more information on updating your Google Sheets Add Row step after adding additional fields to the spreadsheet, follow this guide.

7. At the top of the workflow, hit the Save button to save your changes.

8. Hit the Enable button when you are ready to start using the workflow.
